Hi there, Both codes point to a problem with the front O2 sensor on the car. So are these cell eliminators too long and have to be shortened, need a set for the top 2 sensors, do I need to get a new O2 sensor, or what. Lol, You guys are probably right boy am I driving lazy.

For Models 2005 and up: — Faulty Air Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 Bank 1 — Air Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 Bank 1 circuit is open or shorted — Air Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 Bank 1 circuit electrical connection For Models before 2005: — Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Bank 1 — Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Bank 1 circuit is open or shorted — Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Bank 1 circuit electrical connection. This is bank 2 sensor 1. Im tuned with Uprev , already boosted for one year with no other issues. Maybe you need to replace one of them ,if they have 4 wires each.

I have no check engine light and she is running fine again, I have no idea what caused this. Both are the same,and is imposible that 2 sensors are not good. I would probably replace the sensor or switch it with the one on bank two and see if the codes change. Im driving in top gear doing close to 100 Mph in Boost and wham motor dies and Im on the side of the road. Thus, a P0302 misfire code on a Nissan means the same thing on a Honda Toyota or Mercedes-Benz. The lower one plugs in right next to the downpipe, kind of below the radiator hose.

That is the sensor that plugs in right by the altenator. . This is the one you can see in the exhaust manifold. So you need to replace the afr sensor aka 02 sensor.
Any one have any ideas what might be causing this? Before replacing the sensor, check for the condition of the heated oxygen sensor fuse and connectors. Since the last time I cleared the trouble code P1148 , the engine light hasnt come on. Simply by replacing the sensor will not reset the computer. I would take it to your tuner though just to double check your tune didn't get jacked up. Nissan sensors are very very tempermental.
